I used to resist this because the person who keeps the task list for workdays makes 10 jobs out of one, but it works. People do take on a task when it is clearly defined, meaning has edges and looks simple. It also produces a long list of accomplishments at the end. (I finally started using this to get myself to empty the dishwasher. Just do 5 things, just do the bowls, etc. It works.)
