Dear Joanie —

I’m an advocate of “co-living” spaces.

I live and work in DC — a very “high rent” area — property prices here are
dizzying. Plus we have a major development boom — even during the
“recession.” No recession here …

As a 15 year group house living veteran prior to cohousing, I promote co-living
as one answer to high cost non affordable housing. Believe me when I was
living in a group house one reason was because RENTS were so high — even in the
‘burbs!

You received many suggestions for legal help as well as examples of communities
w/ shared living structures. I’ll add:

Let us know what you decided to do. I’m sure interested in the course you
follow!
