Cohousing-L Mailing List: Silver EcoCommunity’s demise, need info on cooperative households

It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted about the activities of the
planning group for the Silver EcoCommunity in Silver City, New Mexico. We
lost our land 4 years ago. Two of us have kept the project on life-support
for the last 3 years (we even looked at some nice land last fall), but we
are now officially dissolved and our IC webpage is closed.


Recently, as an individual, I have purchased a large house with a little
house to the side and 2 acres. More and more, it seems right to explore
cooperative households, where individuals own a property cooperatively.


Does anyone here know anything about such things? A good lawyer to consult?


Thanks for your inspiration and great information over the years! Do you
think I should leave this list now?
