Cohousing-L Mailing List: Aging In Community Collaboratory

Hello all —

On Friday - Sunday, April 8-10, 2016, Mid Atlantic Cohousing is sponsoring the 
first ever Aging in Community Collaboratory.  This is a year-long workshop led 
by Janice Blanchard gerontologist and AIC expert.  In fact, she wrote the book 
Aging in Community and, along w/ Dr. Bill Thomas coined the phrase.  This 
Collaboratory will be looking at the time between health aging and death we 
call Deep Aging (TM).   The goal of the collaboratory is to have each 
participants design and institute a customized program for aging in their 
respective cohousing community.    

Originally, the collaborative was focused on Mid Atlantic Cohousing members.  
But because we’ve had a number of inquiries and folks signing up from outside 
MAC we’re throwing the doors open wider.  I’ve added eight spaces to the 
registrations for NON MAC registrations at $59.00 per person.
