Bee hives

Here at Wasatch Commons I own a 1/4 acre adjoining our gardens, and put a bee
hive on it. When the gardeners saw the increased pollination in their gardens
they were delighted.

When I aged and could no longer lift the boxes, I gave them to the homeowners
to our north.
They have 1/4 acre garden also and are please with the honey too.

The one problem is that with hive collapse it is very expensive to buy a new
queen and 2 lbs of bees now.

As for legal liability that is sort of silly since bees and travel several
square miles, and who knows whose bee it might have been. Bees are very
peaceful and the last thing they want to do is bother anything other than a
flower. Plus when most people yell "a bee, a bee" it is typically a wasp.
