We're gonna have fun with our National Cohousing Open House Day
<http://www.cohousing.org/openhouse2016> on April 30. And with 82
participating communities and counting, we are already raising visibility
towards mainstreaming cohousing.

Please promote this national event wherever you are! For a press release
and promotional toolkit visit http://www.cohousing.org/openhouse2016/press

I'm impressed with add on events and creative approaches. A few examples:

   - The four communities in Madison are coalescing at Arboretum Cohousing,
with refreshments and children's play space, with tours at Arboretum,
Village and Troy, and hosting forming community Union Corners
   - Liberty Village in Maryland was inspired to offer a renewable energy
workshop with the county's sustainability office
   - Pioneer Valley in Amherst is providing breakfast and a sociocracy
   workshop
   - Green Grove Coho in Oregon plans a live bluegrass jam, family-friendly
   cooperative games, crafts and demos
   - Burlington Cohousing East Village in Vermont is offering crafts,
music, a pre May Day parade, and a pot luck dinner
   - Forming group Richmond Cohousing is taking advantage with a field trip
to Durham/Chapel to visit Arcadia, Pacifica, Durham Coho and Elderberry
   - Germantown Commons is celebrating a ribbon cutting of their new
community on the eve of Open House Day
   - Several California Bay area communities are coordinating tours with
Berkeley Cohousing, Temescal Creek, Swan's Market, and Two Acre Wood.
