Appreciate everyone’s attention to keeping clear definitions of terms. Shared housing is shared housing (one house shared by unrelated people) and cohousing is something quite different. You could have a shared house within a cohousing neighborhood. We need all sorts of coopertative, collaborative, community-oriented housing of which cohousing is one type. If the term loses it clear definition it becomes less useful and thus those of us who care need to keep clarifying. I added a comment at the bottom of the article too.
