We have two full community meals a week - one is a full sitdown meal the
other a potluck and a commercial santizer. We started out using common
dishes for both but after a few years to cut down work and for families to
get home sooner after Sunday potluck we bring our own dishes. It works
well as we are bringing our own serving dishes too. If you forget you can
use CH dishes but you must wash and leave them for sanitizer on Thursday.
It works well but we never have considered doing it for the full service
meal. Sitting around after dinner while others are cleaning and the
cleaners themselves is very social.
