Seeking Website content

As you know, we're working on creating a new and improved website to roll
out later this year. It's really beginning to come together from a tech
and design perspective. We're now ready to invite collaborative content.

We welcome content from writers who have some level of expertise in
cohousing. We imagine content might come from any of the following:
1. You are a professional and would like to add your professional input for
the greater good of cohousing.
2. You've built cohousing and have input to share so others can do it
easier and better than you did.
3. You've lived in cohousing for a while and/or visited a lot of cohousing
and have knowledge and/or passion to share.
4. You are a great researcher/writer who is passionate about cohousing and
you are willing to dig through the Coho-L archives for a particular topic
and assimilate what has been shared into cohesive, balanced content.
5. You are an excellent editor and would like to review the content we
already have for typos, unclear language, etc.

Note that all contributions are voluntary with no exchange of funds. At
this point I'm looking for contributions to main page content - this is
content that needs to be balanced, respectful of a diversity of viewpoints,
more informational than opinionated. It is also collaborative content - I
may edit heavily, if more than one person is interested in contributing I
will combine and perhaps summarize. Coho US staff will curate this content
to make it clear and accessible.

All contributors will be named at the bottom of each page, but specific
pieces of text will not be attributed. The reason to share is to
contribute to the cohousing movement, there are other ways to engage with
the website to spread your brand (more on that later, or ask us).

If you are interested in contributing, send me an email. If I don't already
know you, please introduce yourself and give me a sense of your cohousing
connection and area of expertise. Please tell me what topics you would be
interested in working on. I'll get you set up with instructions, some
information about formatting options and names of others who may be
interested in the same topic for collaboration.

Photography content is also welcome - see a previous email about that. I
have an initial photography team to whom I'm very grateful (you'll be
getting more requests from me soon!), and there is always room for more.
Just drop me an email to get connected.

We are not only a collection of communities - we are a connected larger
community helping to make that world a better place. Thanks for all you do
to support one another in making cohousing life richer, fuller and more
available to all who need it.
