We had a similar experience after meeting with our management company
president. We had just asked questions from a prepared list of ~12 questions
plus follow ups for 60+ minutes. He said “Usually I come to board meetings with
my envelope of financial reports and the board members bring theirs in
unopened. Unopened if they even remember to bring them at all.”

We are a different kettle of fish for most condo support services, which is one
reason I wonder if they are worth an annual contract for cohousing after the
first 5 years or so.
