Cohousing-L Mailing List: Fwd: Important: Encourage people to join the list

I’m generally a lurker on this list, scan all email, read the threads that are 
important to me.
I see the same main contributors over and over, and would love to see a broader 
range of cohousers sharing their experiences. (That may mean that some of the 
people who contribute several times each week may want to consider stepping 
back a bit.)
A key to not overwhelming readers with email volume may be to encourage 
contributors to use the most specific subject line possible, so that quick 
scanning is not a daunting task and pertinent info can later be found in the 
archive with a good search phrase. Also to remind contributors to cut previous 
responses in a thread so there is less repetition to scan through.
