Re: Searchable Decision Log?

Hi Teresa,

I'm curious what aspects of the search function within Google Sheets aren't
working out satisfactorily. I ask in part because as a forming community we
have been using Sheets for our decision inventory/log.

The advantage of a worksheet or similar "database" (term used loosely in
this context) over a searchable message would seem to be more consistency
in the content.

We have the following as column headings:
- Date of decision
- Issue/Concern
- Comments/notes
- Decision
- Date entered
- Next Steps

Are we missing something compared to how others are handling theirs?

So far it seems to be working out pretty well. Admittedly, we haven't used
the log as faithfully as some groups might. And of course, whatever tool is
used, it's only as good as the information in it. Which reminds me, we need
to make a few entries from our last couple of meetings...

All the best,

Stan
