We call it a “donation" but it isn’t in the sense of a 501c3 tax-deductible donation. “Donation” is a tricky word but I suspect that the 501c3 status is what the laws would be addressing. My assumption is that in terms of taxes, we put it in the same category as condo fees. I can find out if it helps.
