Re: Aging in Place - from Regine at Nevada City cohousing

At JPCohousing (Multi-generational-Boston) a few years ago we had a
workshop to review our common values; one of which is to age in place.
Since then, our committees are reminded to think about aging in place with
the work they are doing. For example, when it came time for the outdoor
committee to rebuild the vegetable beds, we chose to do raised beds to
accommodate gardeners who can't easily get down on their hands and knees
anymore.

Are there any communities where two or more elder households share in
hiring a helper who can help with chores? Or even something more intense
where they share the hiring of an aide who can do 1-2 hours daily of
assisted living activities (such as dressing, bathing, cooking...?)
