In our community, Shepherd Village Cohousing,  we have items in a storage area; 
walkers, wheelchair, etc.,that residents can check out, use and then return.  
This loan service of durable medical equipment is provided in cooperation with 
another organization that is specifically involved in "aging in place."  But 
the storage area is located in our building.
