We use QuickBooks for accounting. We have had a couple of audits by a CPA firm but our members did not find them useful. What our members most want to know is that our money is safe and that we have systems in place to prevent and detect fraud. For the last 3 years, we have focused on internal controls and we perform an internal audit every year. This process has proved more to the point of member concerns and much less expensive (free.) Email me for more information about our internal audit process.
