Hybrid meetings

We've had two in-person plenary meetings, last month and this month, after
two years all remote, both with a Zoom option. I attended both meetings in
person. We didn't ask people why they were on Zoom, but I know that two
were out of town and another is not vaccinated. It was not very
technologically sophisticated, just a laptop projecting to a screen, and
in-person participants did not use a mic.

Committees and other such bodies are making their own decisions about
whether to stick with all-Zoom meetings or go hybrid. I don't recall seeing
notices for in-person meetings that lacked a Zoom option.

The Community Committee has re-energized itself and put on a big party in
the CH earlier this month. I didn't go, but I gather that it was a huge
success with about 40 adults and kids present to socialize, nosh, and
dance. I don't remember if they were told to wear masks, but I believe they
did need to be fully vaccinated.

We've been having meals in the CH for several months, a bit on and off but
more on than off. Some people take their plates out to our covered porch
rather than eat and socialize inside (we installed two ceiling heaters).
I've been eating inside.

People's comfort levels about being together in the CH are all over the
place. I count myself as "people" in this regard.
