Hi Everyone,

If you haven't seen already, I'm offering a diversity course for community
leaders called Fundamentals of Anti-Oppression in Community this August
through FIC. This five week course talks about how to start a diversity
initiative in your community with sensitivity and respect for marginalized
people. You can register for the course, starting August 6, here:
https://www.ic.org/diversity-course/.

If you're not a community leader or are just interested in the basics of
diversity, I'm offering a course through Karen Gimnig's Connect Collaborate
Grow called Engaging with Diversity. In this course we'll look at race,
gender, sexuality, and socioeconomic class to understand how those parts of
our identity influence our experience of community. You can find out more
about her network here: https://www.karengimnig.net/upcoming.

I work with intentional communities and non-profit organizations to help
them become more welcoming to marginalized people. Whether you are a
forming community or already living together, I can give advice about how
to handle recruitment, training, and conflict resolution as it pertains to
identity. I offer free consultations and meetings over Zoom. I'll also be
at the Cohousing Conference
<https://www.cohousing.org/cohoevents/2022-madison/> next month!

Thanks for reading!
Crystal
