Sharon, Good advice. I suggest Retrofit be the first lead word (e.g. CL Retrofit - Common Houses, CL Retrofit - Changes in Zoning). The problem with this is that some people see the word Retrofit and think it means taking an existing building, redesigning and retrofiting it, and moving in all at once. That is more like standard cohousing than the long process of often slowly adding units to retrofit a block of homes in an existing neighborhood into cohousing community. Could we find another word for cohousing that reuses old buildings like Doyle Street Cohousing did in Emeryville?
