Cohousing-L Mailing List: Outdoor dining

Arboretum Cohousing (Madison WI) has a nice big south facing patio adjacent
to the Common House. We also have a small one-table patio on the east side
of our second building that gets a lot of use.

The little patio is more intimate, is closer to half our residents, and
provides a space when the main patio is in use. Most importantly, it is
shaded by the building at dinner time. Think about shade in your design!
