Let's meet up for lunch beforehand, on the path to re-establishing our regular regional gatherings that got sidelined by COVID. The Washington Commons grand opening event starts at 1 PM (brief ceremonies at 2), so feel free to drop in informally to meet up noon-ish at the Treehouse Cafe sandwich shop next to the community, at 630 3rd St., West Sacramento, CA. And mark your calendars for Sunday, July 7: an urban East Bay community (with views of San Francisco) will host a full-fledged gathering like we did in the days of yore, including lunch and extended conversation on the joys and challenges of living in and running our communities (plus preparing for the National Cohousing Conference in Denver in August). Details to follow. Cohousing seekers: there will be other opportunities for you; this one is focused on folks who already found their home in community.
