 There's a back story about the rugs...A good steam cleaner makes sense, (if 
anyone wants to use it.) It goes on the list of proposals. Reality hits when

If you have lots of hallways, it probably makes sense to look at floor-cleaning 
machines. Something like a steam cleaner. And look at what kind of flooring is 
sound-absorbing, trip-proof, and easy to clean. 

Avoid a machine that is so large no one wants to use it. Battery powered (no 
cords) with an extra battery. One that partially at least moves itself along.

We have people who love to clean and resist any attempts to hire out cleaning. 
I’m not one of those people, I hire cleaners, and do other common tasks.
