Maggi: Here at Arboretum Cohousing in Madison, Wisc, we have long had a weekly
in-house newsletter, now sent digitally. It includes both our events and those
in the community. And great photos. We also have 2 in-house email lists. For
our general one, we have had to remind ourselves that the purpose is to give
info and aak questions. We agree that this email address is not for
controversial topics or political discussions. For the later we have another
email that one has to choose. All of this works pretty well. But from time to
time we need to be reminded that face to face may be the way to go.

Subject: [C-L]_ Communication within the community?

In what ways does your community communicate with one another? I’m
interested in online and offline methods that are working or not working
for folks. How do you support folks in streamlining communications?

This feels like a perennial question and I’m always curious how things
change over time. I’ve been a member of Touchstone Cohousing for 25 years.
