Here at Eastern Village Cohousing in Maryland, US (Katie’s old stomping ground
that she helped build) we have 56 cohousing units as a condominium with a
common house. including a workshop, accessible green roof and a roof-top play
set, as well as 11 commercial units all in a single 4 story building with 2
elevators. It is a 60+ year old building gut rehabilitated 20 years ago. Fully
sprinklered.

Our premiums are $49,000 this year with a mix of suppliers for different
faucets of the insurance. Our previous insurer, State Farm, dropped us 2 years
or so ago. $10,000 deductible per incident. The premiums only cover the
building exteriors. Homeowners are responsible for drywall in.
