I live in the same community as Buzz. A little more on our geoweb solution:
it isn't installed along all our paths, only those portions required to be
accessible for emergency vehicles. The locations for the geoweb were worked
out between our site architect and our town's fire department as required
by the town. Something about a fire truck needing to get within X feet of
each dwelling. I imagine the technical specifics vary state to state, or
even town to town.
