Cohousing-L Mailing List: Roundup use in common areas

[Ed Sutton (ed440]

“Roundup” is a brand name which for decades contained the herbicide
“glyphosate.”
Glyphosate is the herbicide of concern which is well known.
More recently the brand name “Roundup” is used for a variety of herbicides
marketed for various purposes, many of which do not contain glyphosate.
To think clearly about this question it is necessary to know what herbicides
are in the version of “Roundup” that will be used.
It’s best to drop the use of “Roundup” and use the name of the actual herbicide.
[In Eno commons we apply triclopyr to cut stems to kill difficult invasives.]
