Robyn MANDERSe wrote about being aware of what people do in regards to keeping track of sweat equity. I would agree and suggest one step further: a round of appreciation to close an event or meeting. How this works is that each person in the group points out something someone else has done which they appreciate. It doesn't have to be anything huge either, a friendly smile, the innocence of kids play, the laughter at dinner. Keeping people in touch with the beauty and wonder of the community by appreciating what you have, and publicly stating it on a regular basis is a great way to strengthen the bonds of community. Rob Sandelin A guy coming off a horrible week who had a couple little kids deliver him flowers and big hug because "you looked so sad".
