Has any cohousing initiative considered below-ground parking? It
seems to me there are several workable designs for basement level garages
that don't change the footprint of a house/unit.
Garages/work areas are such desireable items that it seems a shame to
sacrifice them to *fairness*. Rather than reduce the common standard to
achieve fairness, why not raise the level of design to achieve the highest
standard of living possible?
