I am  a researcher at the  Gerontology Research Centre   (Simon Fraser
University) in Vancouver, B.C. Canada.
I am trying to  locate research findings  on  how different  housing
alternatives ( particularly supported environments)  affect the health and well
being  of frail seniors. In particular,  I 'm looking for up to date research
information on small congregate housing such as Abbeyfield houses, or other
alternatives  that  provide  the senior  with support, while preserving
independence.   If you have  know of such information on these types of housing
alternatives  in your region , please let  me know.
