Cohousing PR (IMO) needs to be covered from a number of angles. National
and regional media attention is invaluable in getting the concept out
so that people are at least slightly familiar with it when they see
announcements for local meetings. If there are several cohousing groups
in an area, even if they're at different stages, it would be good for them
to share the PR efforts - it spreads the work around, and would show the
public how we can cooperate with each other rather than compete.
Other national publications that would be appropriate for Cohousing PR
would include Sunset Magazine (at least in the western US), and all sorts
of handyman type pubs. Sunset in particular would be a good platform
because they reach an audience with diverse interests.
Unfortunately, I'm not a good writer, or I'd do it myself.
