Absolutely.  That's how N St started - Kevin Wolf looking over at the back
yard of the house next door and saying, "Gee, wouldn't it be great if we 
could take out this fence and make a great big common garden with both yards.

issue of the Cohousing Magazine has a picture of Rob Sandelin on the 
front cover.  (Sheesh, somebody had to say it :0)
