>MikeM you said >Arne, of course you're right to note that any means of commuting pollutes >(some, like bikes very minimally). But also it's a huge waste of time as I >mentioned in my reply to Dan. I just had to mention how much I really enjoy my commute via bus from the southern burbs to downtown Denver. The time is not a waste for me - I read the paper in the morning and periodicals or sci-fi novels on the way home. It's a great transition from work to home mentality. Sitting in a traffic jam one person to a car IS a waste of time/energy, so the more of us who use public transport, the more justification there will be for light rail and increased bus service. It looks like it will be at least 5 years before light rail gets extended down to Littleton. Then I'll get to have a relaxing train ride all the way instead of the fuming bus for the majority of my 'quiet time'. the Frauenglass of Highline Crossing, Mark%724-9482 [at] mcimail.com
