Congrats to the new residents of the Highline Community!

By the way, could some of those community members explain why early
members were able to purchase units at around $80,000 that later
members (some still to be found) have to purchase in the
$150-$200,000 + range? Some friends that attended the informational
meeting in December, as well as relatives who checked into the
community over a year ago, were put off by the seeming unfairness of
this. My husband and I are still aiming to get into cohousing when
we are back in the area. I would also be interested in hearing from
other communities regarding whether this is an unusual or standard
practice. Perhaps someone from the Highline community could help out
with the exact figures for early and current purchases to facilitate
a potential exchange on this.

Many thanks!

P.S. Is there anyone on this list from the Charleston area? The
nearest community of which I am aware is in Atlanta.
