I'm a member of Tucson Cohousing, and we are in the process of revitalizing and regrouping in advance of a development plan and new marketing push. As a part of this process, we have formed a Constitutional Committee to come up with some type of document to present to the group as a whole for ratification which will write down clearly all of our rules of conduct. Included items would be things like: facilitation, consensus & decisionmaking, committees, new member procedures, etc. This "constitution" wouldn't be anything like CCRs or a development plan, but rather would govern our regular operations, so that we can spend less time going over procedural systems during regular meetings. Have any other groups come up with such a "constitution"? If so, how have you structured the document? Thanks, Steve Farley sfarley [at] igc.apc.org Tucson Cohousing
