Eno Commons is a cohousing development that is well on the way in
north Durham, N.C. Significant incentives are now being offered for
new members.

The site is a short walk from the Eno River, which is protected by a
state park. The site is protected by a creek and woods. These
beautiful features will be preserved by a design which focuses on
people, not cars. Minimizing roadway creates a safer place for children
and adults to play and stroll in. A common organic vegetable garden and
orchard are part of the plan, along with the Common House providing
space for shared meals and childcare and a separate workshop building.

Homes will include passive solar design, utilizing natural heating
and cooling to achieve energy efficiency. Shared information and
buying power can reduce construction costs and operating costs.

People of all ages, races, religious beliefs, and sexual orientations
are welcome to make Eno Commons their home.
