David, what an exciting opportunity--to build a cohousing project in a wider
sustainable community/village. The incipient downtown Oakland (CA) group is
exploring a site which is part of a larger development (one city block out of
a four block redevelopment site), but there are otherwise no similarities
that I can see. I mention it because I have not heard until your posting
about other projects where cohousing is to be one part of a larger (in
Tucson's case much larger) new construction project. Thanks for your posting.
