By the way, the criteria for connecting interpersonally in a neighborhood (in
the western world) that I posted --is, just the tip of the iceberg--if I had
more time   to volunteer, I could post all the info I have collected over the
last thirty years.

Some other stuff:
* People only move 1400 feet from their home, when on foot--in good weather
and full daylight--as the weather worsens or it gets dark, the distance
reduces drastically/proportionally .

* People are visual--if folks can't see INTO shared facilities they can't see
who is inside and can't what they are doing--then they won't use the facility
as frequently--so, you need big windows facing the right direction .

* The width of sidewalks, paths, walkways dictates the number of people who
will walk on that path per hour.
