No, I don't mean in Boulder, though that would be nice, too. I mean the September conference. One of our members says she doesn't really want to go (tonight she gave the tour and 2-hour talk to the umphundreth visitor, and while these visitors are mostly nice and cool people, one gets burned out)... but, as I was saying, this member really cares that options for urban cohousing in existing neighborhoods, whether retrofit or new construction or a combination, get the attention they deserve at the conference. She'll submit a presentation proposal and go if she has to, but will feel less bad about it if she knows others will be addressing the subject. As you may guess, I'm encouraging her to go anyway, since every neighborhood is distinct and there are lots of possible approaches. Nevertheless, I agreed to send out this message to ask about others who want to make presentations along these lines. You can e-mail me personally; no need to subject everyone to the replies. Just write a line or two of what you plan to cover. Thanks. David Mandel, Southside Park, Sacramento
