Do people regularly give two hour tours and talks about their community? Yikes, if this is the standard, I'd change it. Burnout is right. I give about two tours a month. They average 20 min. For students or serious people, they can come to dinner and talk with the inhabitants then for two hours, but it won't likely be me being their host the whole time. I'll hand it off. Yes I could talk about our community for hours. But I don't want to spend my time doing this, and after a while, what do they retain anyways? And I don't want to burn out on giving the tour. Anyone else have solutions to the tour problem? I border on feeling guilty for not giving a longer more detailed introduction, yet so far, my desire to conserve my time outweighs it. --- Kevin Wolf 724 N St Davis, CA 95616 phone and fax: 916-758-4211
