One of the members of the First Residents Group (FRoG) of EcoVillage at Ithaca is thinking of going "down under" for a little r&r. He's Jay Jacobsen, a plant ecologist at Cornell, who's been with us (I think) from the beginning, about 4 years ago. He asked me to post this to get some info (and possibly invitations) to CoHo in Australia and that general area. Anyone who can help can reach him at: jsj1 [at] cornell.edu (I already gave him your name, Ian, and mentioned Cascade, but don't let that stop you from contacting him... His request follows: ========================================================================== From: IN%"jsj1 [at] cornell.edu" 8-JUN-1995 11:04:53.73 To: IN%"RAYGASSER [at] delphi.com" Subj: Crystal Waters >Has anyone in a U.S. cohousing community been to Crystal Waters in Australia? If so, please give me your opinion about whether it's worth the expense of a combined vacation and visit. I'm particularly interested in food production, energy and ecological issues as well as the people and process aspects of co-housing. Jay Jacobson, EcoVillage of Ithaca
