We tried this but must have used too many slugs.  We couldn't get the 
tricycles out.  Fortunately we could just poured a little non-sudsing 
ammonia on it and the whole thing dissolved. (Helpful slug tip, make a 
solution of 2 parts non-sudsing ammonia, to 5 parts water and put it in 
a spray bottle.  It dissolves the slugs, adds lots of great nitrogen to 
the soil and doesn't hurt the plants.  Works best to get those little 
tiny slugs)
