Buzz No I am not worried about being ignored, nor have I complained about being ignored, what I have said--- is that a few folks who disagree with me never have to back up their assertions but always want me to do so---that there is a reluctance to check out any research resources offered to those few people---if the ideas were contrary to their thoughts. What is arrogant though (let's take the strawbale wall building discussion as an example)---is to condemn my suggestions---then offer me resources to "straighten me out"---and when I check out the offered resource and post the information ---the only the only response is that since the newly posted info did not agree with his expectations then I must be lying or exaggerating---but then doesn't contact the source himself and post the "right" info. That's arrogance. With respect to the "Volkswagen Cohousing" project--- what makes you and Rob so certain that the results of a team effort on designing the "Volkswagen Home" will automatically end up with building methology that will not meet the Building Codes? Isn't it normal to wait for the finished design for the"Volkswagen Cohousing" project and then do a critique on it?--- and then state that this or that part will not meet the Building Code where I live and then request or suggest another option. On the other hand, anyone is invited to join the design team and join the dialogue and help steer the design in the right direction in the first place.
