Being that the definition of Intentional Community (IC) is so broad it seems
to me, IMHO, that cohousing fits. There are folks within the IC movement
that tend to focus on there own *style* of IC, such as income sharing,
and thus find it difficult to fit cohousing in, but I sense that as the
dialog continues that is happening less frequently.

I'm one of the 'IC people' on cohousing-l. :) I've been living
cooperatively for about 9 years now, in various urban cooperative houses,
and have a strong committment to the communities movement as a networker,
as a student, and as a participant. I was at the recent Fellowship for
Intentional Cmty board meeting and met a number of cohousers there.
Having been a lurker on this list for over a year now I felt able to
participate in dialog on what kinds of work could be done to exchange
information and resources between the two groups -- we had a lot of fun.
