Don't remember the question about growing older in cohousing, but folks seem to be answer it so.......At Doyle St. we have one close to 69 yr old who retired this year. One couple in their mid sixties moved out. I am 58, but have at least 30 years to retirement if I follow my father's example. He retired at 90! Is anyone keeping track of the reasons that people move OUT of cohousing in North America (or in Denmark for that matter)? This would be very useful information for those building new communities. For example, I heard some older people have moved out of cohousing because, although they did want to live with children, they didn't want to live with quite so many children. Is this true, and is it common? Joani Blank
