If >10-15 groups sent $10K each, that would be enough to purchase a boarded-up >building and some renovation..... I can't even get Sharingwood to fund membership in the FIC, I could not imagine my group ever agreeing to give 10 grand to some other neighborhood project in some city somewhere. In that 10 grand is a small part of a multimillion dollar project is not the point. Getting agreement from everybody in the group, at the stage of mortgage financing, to agree to donate $350 to some other development project, might be kind of a hard sell. Out of the 33 adults at Sharingwood I am the only one who puts ANY energy into community networking. I might do this, I doubt any of my neighbors would. Rob Sandelin Sharingwood
