New moderated low volume cohousing list needed?

I am again thinking about the need for a moderated
low volume mostly announcement (rather than
discussion) alternative to cohousing-L. A moderated list
requires a "moderator" to review messages and decide which to post.
This function could be combined with an editor to simply pass
on a portion of the cohousing-L messages to the moderated list.

But somebody would have to do this.

If anyone is interested in performing this valuable service to
the cohousing community please let me know. Carefully consider the
size of the commitment; an overloaded volunteer is not desireable
for reliable long term service. Someone who reads the list
fairly closely anyway would only be taking on a modest additional
commitment I'd hope. THink about it. The personal rewards
I'd expect would come in the form of gratitude expressed by
users who would appreciate the relief from the flurry of email
and those who would otherwise not subscribe at all.

Cohousing-L is likely to change addresses when it moves
to a listserver running at a different site in the coming
months so that is a likely time for add in such an
additional list.
