Cohousing-L Mailing List: any cohousing in NYC?

        Sometimes it seems that everyone who posts in cohousing 
is a computer programmer with 2 kids who likes hiking.  

        I would like to take part in cohousing, but I live in 
Brooklyn.  I read the excerpt from the Noam Chomsky interview
in the last digest and I believe Chomsky when he says that in
the corporate world people are being tread on all the time.
And I think cohousing is a better way to relate to one another
than the hierarchy of most corporations.

        But I don't have a huge chunk of money.  Does anyone 
know of any NYC cohousing opportunities, or perhaps co-oppy
opportunities (not like a condominium)?
