I Love the idea of a lower volume list- and am NOT volunteering.
Here's another (half baked) idea - some sort of code for tagging at least some
of the messages relative to what stage of development people might be in to be
interested - i.e.
1- considering living in cohousing (this would be hard to define)
2- groups in early formation stage - sharing and asking for experience
3- groups in development stage - interested in questions of
organization, hiring professionals, theories about design, research, etc
4- groups in the trenches, few choices left, interested in ongoing
issues, issues of later development, moved in questions, policies, etc
5- people already moved in, I assume might be same as 4 or all of above
6- theoretical discussions of community
Of course, you could read everything. But this would help us deleters.
I just can't begin to keep up these days - I skim because occasionally there is
something relevant, but we are long past lots of these choices, for better or
worse, and I don't trust the headers. So I skim, skim, skim, and it still
takes too much time.
