Buzz, So, in the case of the workshop contingent and the horse barn contingent: The group at least has to decide on land utilization, right? If the structures go on communal land, then the group has to agree, right? Also, shouldn't people standing aside try to take a long term view? For instance, I'll bet the horse fan will sometime really want to use some resources in the workshop to build something for her horse or her house. Or, perhaps somebody will build something for her. Also, I'll bet somebody who didn't initially invest in the horse barn will at sometime get quite a bit of joy out of riding a horse, or will acquire some animal that would love to share the barn. So, do things built on individual initiative/funding still belong to the community? Mike M
