Theoretically, cohousing means a neighborhood which fosters a sense of
community because the design encourages it and the residents nurture it.

Practically, cohousing means a neighborhood where people are the prority, not
cars; where people share  meals, experiences, tools, & toys; and where people
know and care for each other.
